A downloadable game

Rock Paper Pointer is just as the name suggests a game of Rock Paper Scissors but using gestures available in Lite SDK of Manomotion. The player uses their hand to pick their chosen move and it is shortly evaluated against the automatically controlled opponent's choice. First player to reach 3 points wins!

Gestures are translated as such:

  • Closed hand -> Rock
  • Open hand -> Paper
  • Pointed finger -> Pointer

All sounds are from Freesound and in the public domain (Creative Commons 0 license). All artwork was made by me in Inkscape.

Install instructions

Note:

To build the Unity project successfully, please open the Scenes/Main scene and change the project settings to build for Android. Android Studio is a requirement. Other dependencies might exist. Unity 2020.1.7f1 was used in development.

If you don't want to build it yourself, there's a prebuilt APK available.
